Troy High School senior Jacob Ward has been named a Top 10 finalist in the Texas state competition for the VFW Voice of Democracy.

After earning first place at the local and district levels, Jacob will attend the state awards banquet on January 17 in Corpus Christi, where final rankings and scholarship awards will be announced.
