The Troy ISD Board of Trustees at their regular meeting on May 16 approved the 2022-2023 school calendar. The calendar features an earlier first day of school along with staff development days built into the school year as a way to support teachers in planning quality instruction. Grading periods will now be nine weeks in length instead of the current six weeks. In addition, the district will lengthen the school day by 10 minutes; however, the school day will not start earlier. The additional minutes will be added to the end of the day. The first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year will be Wednesday, August 17.
