Meet Kennedy Bearden and Andrew Mungia, both active/competing members of Troy ISD’s CDE Entomology Team. Kennedy and Andrew have been working on a two-month Vermiculture project to analyze the effects of different elements on plant growth. Kennedy, who is interested in pursuing Animal Science, and Andrew, who is interested in pursuing Theatre Arts, water the plants every day and feed the worms every two weeks. Both students take their responsibility very seriously and said that this project will better prepare them for their future career-related responsibilities, as well as increasing their skills for CDE Entomology competitions. Great job, Kennedy and Andrew!
