Troy ISD Earns Accountability Rating of B for 2025

Troy ISD earned an overall A-F accountability rating of B for the 2024-2025 school year. The district notched increases at the district level and at all campuses over the 2024 results. All campuses in Troy ISD earned a B rating from TEA. Two campuses earned Distinction Designations. Troy Elementary School earned Distinction Designations for Top 25% in student academic growth and also Top 25% in Closing the Gaps. Raymond Mays Middle School earned four Distinction Designations for Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts, Academic Achievement in Science, Postsecondary Readiness, and Top 25% in Closing the Gaps. While pleased with the increases, Troy ISD continues to strive for even greater academic achievement as measured by TEA’s A-F accountability system. For the 2025 school year, new curriculum materials have been introduced for K-5 RLA and for K-8 math and Algebra 1. The district will also emphasize both reading and writing, including handwriting, to a larger extent during the 2025-2026 school year. Parents are strongly encouraged to be involved in their students’ education by encouraging reading at home, ensuring students complete their assignments, and limiting absences as much as possible. Troy ISD is raising academic expectations, and parent support is crucial for student success.
