Remote Instruction Continues

Posted Date: 03/30/2020

As of Monday, March 30, remote learning for all students in Troy ISD continued into week two. Students were contacted by their teachers and will access instructional materials and classroom assignments either on paper or online. For those needing paper materials, pickup and/or dropoff of packets will occur from 7:30-9:30 am and 5:00-6:30 pm on Mondays. Teachers will hold office hours each weekday from 8:30 to noon. During office hours, teachers are on duty, responding to student or parent questions, answering emails, and generally making themselves available to students. If those hours are not convenient, teachers will be available by appointment during other times of the day. Troy ISD faculty are committed to providing quality instruction and are actively working to create engaging learning experiences for students. Parents will want to read a letter from Assistant Superintendent Dr. Darrell Becker for tips on a successful at-home learning experience for students.
